Soda Pop
My goals for this for this project were to have fun while doing it. I accomplished it by not worrying to much about the end result and just getting immersed into it. What surprised me most was how comfortable I'm becoming with charcoal. The most difficult challenge I faced while working on this project was putting the face together. The eyes, nose and lips were easy to draw but putting them together was a little difficult. I met that challenge by working at it until I got the result I wanted. I experienced the shift from right to left brain when I was drawing the nose and lips. I think my drawing really works where the hair is. Some things I have learned is that you can take a pencil and use it to aline all of the facial features. I learned from Grace while we were working on this project. She is such an amazing artist.
